friends, WE DID IT LION¡¯S WAY!! I am Kenny Shu, President 2008-2009
of East Valley Lions Club. It is my true pleasure to spearhead the Blind
Children Center Van Project and complete the fund raising goal of this project.
I have been blessed
to embark on BCC project since August 2008. In the journey of organizing and
coordinating this Lion¡¯s project, I experienced tremendous joy of giving and
was overwhelmed by the support received from our Lions and friends in such a
short time. This task also shows when there is a meaningful goal, Lions will
unite and achieve the aspiration enthusiastically. The Lion¡¯s motto ¡°We Serve¡±
is shown undoubtedly in this project. I thank all the support from Lions
and friends. Everyone is a hero. - February, 16, 2009
We are applying for a
matching grant in July 2009¡¯s Lions International meeting.
If all goes well, everyone is invited to the
BCC Van Dedication Ceremony in the July or August!
